Beautiful seaside area easily accessible from Adelaide city centre, preferably on the tram. Large expanse of wide sandy beach with shallow, calm water for bathing. Nice eateries around and a variety of shops to visit down the main street. Great for a day trip!
One of the most enjoyable spot in Adelaide.. best place to see the sunset (enjoyable even in Ferris wheel).. One of the best parks/playground for kids.. Plenty of restaurants and cafes on the way.. Ample car park nearby (not on the shore). Public toilet facilities available
The beach is really nice, with lots of restaurants around. It’s a great place to spend time with family or friends, or even just to relax and release stress. This place is really good to visit.
Highlight: Sunset Not the longest beach in Australia, but clean, light-colored sand. With a jetty extending far out. Very warm water, shallow beach. Very busy at the back, with people and restaurants. Very impressive for a romantic sunset viewing on the south-side (Jetty). Highly recommended!
Beautiful beach… old school pier which is lovely. The beach is huge so you’ll not have to fight for space. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes a minute walk away which are all very popular. There’s a lot to see in this quaint area. If you’re looking for accommodation...
