Amazing tropical paradise just off the coast of Cairns, with a stunning beach and rainforest. Be prepared for humid conditions and lots of insects! Definitely worth the 45 min ferry ride if you are in the area.
Beautiful island! Snorkelling tours there are a scam because you can see everything on a solo swim, but the island is a must see.
Great little island for snorkelling. 45min boat ride from Cairns. Plenty of green turtles and pretty coral. Do the glass bottom boat ride of you don't want to get your feet wet. Loads of options for food and drinks. You will need about 6 hrs all up if you want...
The nudey beach is absolutely stunning with such clear water. We enjoyed swimming there but don't expect too much from the snorkeling experience, maybe go to green island instead. Food and coffee at the cafe were pretty decent.
Island is nice and easy to get from main land. It will take you approximately 1 hour but there isn’t that much things to do there. One resort with pool, old snack bar and small convenience store. Beaches are average at the best. There is also one nice hiking path...
