It's a spectacular natural landscape, easily accessible by car and a short walk along a path. It's a convenient waterfall and a great place for water activities. However, some rocks are slippery, and the water is incredibly deep in some areas, so children should be careful.

This hidden gem is a must see if you’re in the area. Best of all you get to swim and enjoy the natural waterslide it has to offer. Just absolutely stunning! Only an hours drive south of Cairns and it’s free to visit.

Josephine Falls is absolutely beautiful! The clear water and rainforest surroundings make it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. Definitely worth a visit! 🌿💧

Very popular, photogenic waterfall with the added bonus of being a safe place to swim. Decent, paved walk to falls with 2 viewing platforms. The walk to the swimming hope is very rocky so a bit of a scramble. I recommend NOT wearing things for that part. Kids will show...
